Last Saturday, June 26 took place the last advanced Shiatsupractor seminar�B

This time, Onoda Sensei, taught both the advanced and the basic�@group

The seminar was about Shiatsu diagnosis and treatment based on the cross theory.

At the end of the seminar, Onoda Sensei gave the certificates to the students, later the enjoy lunch in a nearby restaurant.

Last June 12, Onoda Sensei travelled to Rome to deliver the certificates to the students that followed the course given by Master Pollidory at “Guarda di Finanza”.

Onoda Sensei, took the opportunity to give the last supervision class to the students.  After that, they had dinner and deliver the certificates to the students.

Last 4, 5 and 6 of June was held at Paris the V edition of the International Shiatsu Days at Paris, 2010. Onoda Sensei was invited as speaker.

The congress was attended by the leading exponents of Shiatsu in Europe and Japan as Yuji Namikoshi, Gabriela Poli, Jyunichi Kurosawa, and Suzanne Yates among others.

There were different presentations; Onoda Sensei presentation was about “Shiatsu Treatment for babies”.

This time the supervision class was given by Takeshi Moriwaki sensei.

The subject was low back pain and its treatment with shiatsu.

Moriwaki Sensei, gave a specific explication about the most important points and lines to work and how to focus the treatment from a holistic therapy point of view.

The students showed great interest for this technique and some of them were interested in continuing his studies next year, taking the Instructor Sotai course.

Last weekend 29 and 30 of May, Kinesio Taping Instructor, Takeshi Moriwaki and his assistant Daigo Ohnuma visited the lovely city of Granada.

The students were very fascinated in use the Kinesio tape they heared so much about it.

The basic course lasted 8 hours, morning and afternoon, and the advanced course lasted 12 hours they learned two treatments: women pathologies and frozen shoulder.

After the course students received a certificate.

Last weekend, Onoda Sensei, travelled to Rome to attend his monthly class at Apis association.

This time Onoda Sensei talked about:

Removing the slack, pressure and stretching and physiological stages in pregnancy.

Once again students enjoy and showed interest for the seminar.

Last weekend Carmen Yagüe, EJS Shiatsu teacher, gave a Basic shiatsu course. The course last 12 hours and students learnt about katas, pressure and basic lines of Namikoshi shiatsu.

In April we made a Photo shoot for the new student’s basic book “Shiatsu Onoda Style”.

With the collaboration of: Instructor Raúl Gómez Villa; as project coordinator ,Nuria Colorado as model and Claudia Constanzo as photographer and image coordinator.

It will be available soon to school students as a textbook

Last weekend, April 16 to 18, Master Onoda attended the XXII Congress of the Italian Federation of Shiatsu that was held in Grado, Italy(next to Venezia).

Attended speakers representing different styles like Masunaga, Namikoshi, Zen Shiatsu, etc.

They shared different ways to focus Shiatsu and taught the way to treat pathologies 

Three days of intensive learning in a beautiful Italian city.

Onoda Sensei has been travelling to Rome on several occasions during this year, to give seminars to the students of the Rome School.

On April they had the Kyo Jitsu and diagnosis seminar according to Shigeru Onoda’s AZE method.

Throughout the day there was a good atmosphere among the participants.

Last March, took place a Basic course at Bulgary by Instructor Nikola Dimitrov. This first course is the beginning of a series of courses that will take place in the future.

We hope this therapy to arrive professionally to Bulgary soon , meanwhile, each time more people gets attracted by shiatsu.

Once again we have attended Expovital the alternative therapy meeting; Onoda Sensei gave a theoretical-practical conference about shiatsu and modern illness.

Attendees were taught several exercises to prevent low back pain, also students from the School, gave a few minutes of  shiatsu to the audience in order to show how our method works

Saturday, March 27, 2010 took place a new Instructors meeting associated to Namikoshi Shiatsu Europe in Italy.

Pending issues where discussed at the meeting, also they talked about the new adhesion to FIS of Namikoshi Shiatsu Europe in Italy.

All the associated instructors to NSE are professional experts recognized by the Japan Shiatsu College and subject to annual review to asses their knowledge and their worth in the field of shiatsu.

Last weekend we gave a Basic 8 hours Kinesio Tape course.

The aim of the course was    to be an introduction of using this tool along with other therapies. The instructor of the course was Takeshi Moriwaki

The students that attended the course received a diploma.

Last weekend, 13 and 14 of March, we gave a 12 hours Basic Namikoshi shiatsu course.

This course serves as an initiation to shiatsu. This time the instructor was Luz Sainz, teacher and therapist of the centre of shiatsu.

Last March 7, Onoda Sensei travelled from Granada to Malaga to give a review class to the students of the school.

This time Onoda Sensei, taught who to work shiatsu to pregnant women and the importance of replacing the hip at post-partum.

Students of the 3 levels attended the class.

Last March 6, Onoda Sensei travelled to Granada to give a reviewing course to the students of Granada.

Beside the basic therapy, Onoda Sensei work lateral decubitus, a very useful tool that allows us to work people that for different reasons can’t lie face down.

Students enjoyed the course and thanked to Onoda Sensei for his interest.
